Tremblant & Labor Dispute?

Some of my buddies and I were thinking of going to Tremblant for New Years cause we got a sweet deal for housing, but then I read about the Labor dispute and the entire mountain being on strike so they can only run a couple of lifts. What is going on? Is the skiing good? Will the parks be open and groomed? Thanks for any info.

I havent been to tremblant this year... i seriously doubt that the skiing will be that great, the "cadres" (i dunno the english term) are runnign the mountain and lifts...there are 400 of em, thats it, so the line up are pretty intense, as I have seen on TV, HOWEVER, partying will definitly be worth the trip, so you gotta think about, because personally... as far as New Year goes, partying comes before skiing.

I was up there until the 23rd, and the skiing was good despite the fact that only 2 lifts were running. Oh and when i was there there was absolutely no lift lines
