ski patrol....no other job allows more time on the snow.
especially if you work nights...ski all day(never missing a powder day because of work), and work/ski all night at work.

just watch out for those old crusty patrollers

you could become and instructor, do a few PSIA things, get all certified and shit. thats what i would do...then again i like kids, maybe that wouldnt be good for you.

I would get a job in the shop. Get your gear for cheap and can probably still ski in the mornings. Working on the mtn turns skiing into work unless you get lucky and put with a cool crew.

My friend was a valet at keystone lodge. I think he didnt mind it and i think he got paid a decent amount.

i want to be a ski instructor really bad when im a little older, id be so fun if you could teach GOOD people park stuff or whatever, but you would probably have to start with crying little 5 year olds teaching them how to pie wedge all day.
and if you are a private instructor i think you can actually get paid pretty good.

if u didnt care about money then park crew would be the shit but if u wanted money then become a instructer thats what my friend does and he only instructs on the weekend and gets to ski everyother day for free while still getting a 600 dollar ski inctructer jacket

my cousin worked at alta last year in the mid lodage. sweetest fucking deal EVER. in December there's often too much snow on the gorund for anyone new to come so the employees have a basically empty portion of heaven on earth. shes a damn good cook too and helped out in the shop. her family benifitted from all this.

patrol. the only way you can get paid to ski without going pro and not have to cator for some spoiled bitch who had daddy hire a backcountry guide or private lesson for the day

I work custodial. I guess its pretty cool - free lunch, free ride of to the hill, free breakfast, free pass, and I get paid more than everyone else. But trust me, Ive seen some sick "shit"

i thik it all depends on what ur good at at a mountain, for some its sales, others it s teaching , and others its the park crew, it all does down to what do u want and think is good for u...

im an instructor now and i like teaching the 5 year olds so much more over the kids who can actually ski. because the 5 year olds are always wicked enthusiastic and there's so much to teach them that it's not boring.

and i just started this year, really small hill in ma, i can get up to 30 an hour. pretty good pay for where i work.

I ve been a liftie and a Ski Instructor...Both of which kinda sucked. Especially when its dumping POW and you have to stick around the lift line or begginers area. What a drag!
I would have to say the best job is the Freeride team at any sick hill. Sometime Ski Patrol gets the freshies, but they have to deal with a lot of BS work too!

the best mountain job is not working for the mountain, kiddies.. its so simple.. why waste your time teaching retards to ski when you could be skiing? ski all day everyday, and then go wash dishes or heat up food...
