yo. I dunno maybe this post is pointless but i was thinking what are the local ski communities like where u all live. Like do u know loads of people that ski/snowboard and u hang out and shit. I live in England and i only know one other person who likes a snowsport properly, and he snowboards. I know alot of you live real close ot mountains, or within driving distance anyways, so is it like there are loads of people that ski and shit that you know? I wish it was something like that in England cuz i cant share my liking of snowsports with anyone, u know what i mean. Infact, any UK people here know alot of skiiers/snowboarders? are there many really?

(sas) - there isn't skiing in the UK. Well there are some dry slopes and two SHIT indoor real snow places (less than 200m runs). There is scotland, but that gets NO snow and is open for like 1 day a year, so forget it. The only place ot ski from teh UK is going to Europe someplace.

it isn't like u can walk down the street and expect to indulge in ski culture, unless you walk into a ski shop and some caffinated sales rep tries to be your buddy. but on the other hand sometimes you see kids building kickers on the sides of roads. and there's always kids throwing down at the mountain and people talk. so yeah, ski culture is alive in the states. plus it's cool when we have movie premires in the fall that get everyone stoked for the season...
