Tom Cruise is in my town! (couldn't care less!)

Ok hello as many of you know i live in New Zealand, and well i live in a real small town population: 1500 and Tom Cruise just flew in the other day (im not the biggest fan, i actually don't have much respect for film stars as they are just people, but just letting you know, so i guess that means i care a bit)
and he's living honestly like 50 houses up the road, next door neighbours with my friend.
but the coolest part is i went up there the other day and did a massive burn out on his drive way and burned off, and the chunk secruity gaurds came running out, as i was burnng down the road!
i was yelling stuff to the photographers like 'hes only a person'and stuff, but yeah that was a boredom buster.

apparently he's here filming the 'the last samurai' movie, and theres these mock jap villages all over my region.
he's saying up the raod for the next 3 months i think!
quite funny, i go hunting there a bit...gunshots, big guards, scary.

yep and Gwyneth Paltrow is in my town, wooo! ah well, who cares. The Lord Of The Rings was what really mattered, awwwww yeah.

What do you mean what's so good about NZ? It's bloody mint. Did you like not watch Lord Of The Rings or something? That's what our whole country is like, mountains and forests and rivers etc and it's got decent people, not like the assholes that fill a good 90% of the USA

Tim man, what the hell, since when did you become so anti-US... have you ever been here? There are soo many good people, you wouldn't believe it. Only a tiny majority of the people are assholes, a good 90% of people are truly good people. Just last week when my car died, I was stuck on the side of the road in VT... and almost 1 out of every 3 cars stopped to ask if they could render assistance. Don't bash unless you've experianced the place.

Yo Andy, I'm not anti-America, I'm anti-most Americans. And yes, in my EXPERIENCE, about 95% of all Americans I've met are cocks. There are about 5% that are actually really really rad people, like you and Brooke and most of the grommits on this site, all good sorts, but that's what, a few thousand out of a few hundred million. I'm not saying that there aren't nice people over there coz I know that there are, I'm just saying that nearly every American I have met has been an arrogant, ignorrant dickhead. However, most Americans are a lot nicer (and suprisingly, more Intelligent) than a good 99% of Australia.

The New Zealander lifties at Okemo got me fined and were general dicks to me, but I wouldn't have said a thing about them until you brought this up. I don't judge a whole country based on its tourists.

Sure there are dumb people in every country, even New Zealand. I was just saying that most of the Americans I have had the liberty of meeting haven't been worth it. I could say the same thing about a lot of New Zealanders also, but especially Aussies, fucken pricks, haha. I guess the thing between New Zealand and Australia is almost exactly the same as it is between the USA and Canada. If you called me an Aussie or an Aussie a Kiwi you'd be liable for a blood nose or black eye. Much the same as I have experienced asking a dude from BC what state of America he was from, very good times, haha.

But you may or may not know it. Americans are world-wide renowned for being, loud, arrogant, ignorrant and egotistic, sorry, but that's just the way a lot of the world sees the USA. I personally think there are a lot of cool Americans.

and to that dude about okemo and the bad liftys,

my cousin worked like at mammoth and he told me this mass a s story about how unco and stupid some people over there are like it was a 7 man chair and 14 people came up and tryed to get on!!!
and they were just stupid and he just had to let it hit in to them coz theres was no chance of not hitting everyone. very funny, when he told me, but i guess that you had to be there.
