Center mount

are twin-tip skis supposed to be center mounted? like all of them.

i already know that they arent, but i need people to back it up to a friend who thinks they are

not all twins are meant to be mounted true center (as opposed to core center). most companies have a reccomended mounting line (some closer to center than others such as armada, line, and 4frnt) but others such as k2 reccomend you mount fucking far back...but this is because the spot they want mounted on is ideal for the sidecut...

mounting center is for optimised spinning, jibbing and looking dope...ummm im done...dunno what else to say

i don't know about k2 recommending you mount farther back... the modern mounting point on the pes is almost ture center

there not sapposed to be mounted center cept the invader, but alot of people like them dead center on teh ski. Great for riding park adn some all mountain, some people like it for back country 2, i think i remember tanner using center skis in the backcountry in a movie but i dono if it was dead center probably a few cms back.
