Guys, need some help. Pipe work is killing me. I just can't get it. I see guys going big and stomping landings, i try it but always bail. What is the secret for sweetpipe riding. Im from the UK and seeing as we never have any snow and i only get 1 - 2 weeks skiing a year i don't get much time to practise. Can anyone help?
Get yourself to sheffield for some practice- it's not the best pipe but it's pretty good.
Start carving up the walls further and further- until your almost carving out the top. When you get comfortable carve that little bit more, and pop a little to get some air. Once you get out the top for the first time it gets a lot easier. Keep practicing, go faster and carve up the wall straighter to get more height.
Try and find some back issues of fall line skiing- the first one of this year tells you exactly how to get air out of the pipe.
