is it possible to get a good quality camcorder for under like 300 bucks? i want a cheap one just to film skiing, and i had a decent one before but it broke and i forgot how much it was

try to get one a little smaller, that one looks rather big. but then again its all up to you, you can get one of those small ass cams that fits in your pocket, but still has pretty good quality, or you can go for like the sony vx shits that i would keep in an iron safe to carry around because they are such crazy camera's.i have one that loooks like that one sept its a little smaller, if i knew the quality i would compare it, but just shop around man

It is miniDV which I find to be much better quality than a High8. Also, I find that Sonys break too easily.

get a canon optura 10 or 20 off ebay. they go for around 300. their pretty much a vx1000 wannabe. they have all the manual settings, manual focus ring, but its 1 chip.
