I wear size 28 1080 boots right now and im trying to get the salomon pro models since my foot is to thin for the 1080s, i can get a pair of pro model 28.5 for pretty cheap and the 28's were quite snug when I tried them on with thing socks, do you think 28.5 could fit my foot since i hear the shell size is the same?
probably if not wear two pairs of socks if the other ones were snug u should be fine but if they're too big then they'll hurt like hell but u should be fine
The shell is the same size man, just more padding. Tighter is usually better, you can pack em out, heat mold em out... etc. More options than if theyre too big, only option there is to wear more socks, or drill the shell to reposition your buckles to get a tigher (more irregular) fit.
yup. they are the same shell size, the 28 just has a thicker insole and possibly some more padding. try taking the footbed out on your current boots, and or replace them with something thinner. if that doesnt help, you might want to try a 29. but if you can get away with it, stay in the 28 shell size.
