I am the proud owner of a new video camera, thanks Santa. It is the Canon ZR 200, pretty entry level but still a decent camera. Anyway, I need a good camera bag for it. It isnt all that big, and I need enough room for the charger, extra cables, remote, tapes, extra batteries etc. I might be getting a tripod for it as well, and will be doing all sorts of shooting with it. I was wondering if those who have a bit more experience prefer a small gym-bag style case or a full on backpack. I can spend about $60 bucks on it, but can wait a bit if that is a ridiculous price to ask, as I havent checked out anything yet. Thanks.
i just bought a case logic bag from circuit city for around 20 bucks on sale. i also got a camera for christmas and got a small camera and i can fit the cam. two batts, charger, two tapes, and some other small things. it is not a big bag at all and fits all of that stuff.
if you plan on getting serious get a back pack, little bags suck to take with you on the mountains or skiing. The burton zoom pack is a good cheap camera backpack.
Look into either Ogio, they make a backpack called the Atiba, as well as another one that are really really good,
Or Lowepro makes the Minitrekker, alot cheaper, good though.
