or online since mine didnt come with a booklet.. im not sure if anyone else did, but mine didnt, lol

what do you mean "restore" as in get it new parts? Or like reformat it and put on new software?

If it froze on you just go to the ipod support page

If it froze, press MENU and the center button at the same time for about 5-15 sec and it will reboot and you will not loose any files and your ipod will be alright.
