Mounting my brand new P-E's

OK. here's my problem. I have my new K2 publics and I want them to be mounted around like 5. the guy at the ski shop, who said he would mount it centered, mount it at 0, wich is a big problem, unless I remount my skis. the question is: If I remount them, will it make my ski weaker or is it all ok?

remounting a ski one time is no big deal. when you start doing it more than once, thats when you run into trouble.

dude, don't even bother re-mounting... tell the guy at that particular shop to fuck off and get them mounted elsewhere.

I would have bitch him out hardcore, if you said +5 and he mounted at zero, i would have gone ape shit. Hope you didn't pay for that mount.
It's not a big deal to get them remounted, you just can't do it again.

+5 is a good spot, I've got mine +6 and figure anywhere up from 4-6 is ripping for all mtn
I am in this predicament too, when the tech remounted my bindings (they came with factory demo bullshit bindings) he mounted them so the forward pressure is set almost all the way back and I really could use a boot with the next size shell up... so now my question is... if I remount AGAIN but switch to LOOK bindings from salomon, am I going to run into big problems, can I remount my salmons or am I screwed?

just to say that I'm back and the stupid fuck remounted my skis at +6 for free and they are great right now. I love them. I would have killed him if he had refused to remount them free... what a stupid fucker. anyways, thank you

dude tell the manager he fucked up ur skis and u dont want to weaken the skis buy mounting again and u want a new pair for free
