I saw him on His b-day in Minnesota, then I got to meet him after the concert, it was for a charity funtion that my dad is apart of, and BB really thinks what the charity does is good, so he came and played, it was awsome, the man played for 2 and a half hours, and he was funny too
^ yeah cause you know he'e be shreddin the 30ft table and rippin up 450s on and off the rainbow. the show is now sold out, sorry but maybe you can get some at the door or something
Hmmm...I'm probably going to get hated on for this...But BB isnt THAT good. He is kind of just the gateway into blues that is between mainstream and people who are really into blues. For people who ARE really into blues, there are better (not just skill, but also style and tone) guitarists to listen to.
like who? i'm certainly not a hardcore fan but i do like the blues. problem is i dont know of many dudes who are still performing. i mostly listen to my moms lps and a few cds ive accquired
well last night i saw him. the bass and back up guitar were rediculous but the main band and bb werent the best performers i've heard. BB however was an incredible performer and was amazing to see. i definitly suggest seeing him if you have the chance
I saw blues boy when he came to Toronto. It was an amazing show, i have a whole new appreciation for blues guitar now. Kenny Wayne Sheppard opened for him and I wouldve payed $100 just to see that! he played voodoo child-jimi hendrix note for note solo'd behind his head and everything.
