They'll rip it all, even pow (just not as well as a fat ski will). There are quite a few guys in the NE that use Ruckits (Karhu's name for the Maverick) in all conditions - I've seen some of the vids too, it's a sick ski (and on my list for new boards)

They're a bumps/groomer ski but like any ski, they can be ridden everywhere. They're pretty light too, my friend has them and loves them.

Check the Mammoth vids at www.freeheelskier.com and you will change your mind about the Mavericks not performing well all over (the guys in the vid are on Karhu Ruckits and Jaks, but those are the exact same ski as the Mav and Mothership)
