The same thing happens to your hands on handletows... I remember when I was just a youngun when I would be handletowing all day and my hands would just bind up.
I use a rope tow a lot and my forearms used to burn like hell but now they are used to it. Faster rope tows are better but what I do is I get on the rope from the left, so I hold the rope in front with my right hand and behind with my left, it works really well and I can rope tow all day.
where the heck do you actually find a rope tow these days? In california, the only ropes I knew of that were still in operation were at dodge ridge, and im not sure, but they might have taken them out.
I have never even ridden a rope tow lol. I have been on a handle tow and a poma lift and a t-bar... those are the only surface lifts I have ever touched. lol.
