Replying to Mainstream or not?

do you think skiing should go/will go mainstream? what do you want it to do and why?

i personally think it should go mainstream. the more i think about it the more i find myself thinking mainstream is the only way to go. Sure core skiing and all the underground type shit is kickass, and it will be around for a long time. But once skiing gets mainstream, maybe we wont be looked down apon any more, maybe one day it will become as popular as snowboarding (you never know), but something that is certain to happen if we go mainstream is we will get more people. the skier to snowboarder ratio is like 5:500. all in all the more people we get skiing, the more promotions we will get, the more sponsers, new company's, competitions, fame, prizes, everything you can think of to further push the sport will happen. basically, i think its a step that we have to take.
