I got my invaders two and a half weeks ago and my skis are starting to delaminate. Already a huge chunk of platic came off, and there is bubbles starting to form on the rest of the ski.
that happened to me. the second day i had them they completely delamenated from the tip to the toe of the binding. send them back and tell them you will pay the difference to upgrade to the chronics.
same...i can see where they're gonna come apart though...and i have a big chunk missin outta my sidewall but that's def. my own fault. yea if they start goin to crap i'll pay the difference to upgrade to the crons.
yeah that happend to me the 6th day of skiing on them. 3 times was only on one run with no jumps or rails. i did notice that they have a different laminate. invaders - matte finish, moships - glossy
i don't get it, is the laminate defective or what?
I've been out 13 days and mine are just starting to delam in the tail, I'm gonna warranty them for store cred at jibij hopefully and then pay the difference for chronic wides.
can someone post a pic of their invaders, cause i have yet to see any evidence of the delam problem. I no when everyone's tm's got fucked up, they put pics up to show it.
no this happens to all of them, its not the topsheet, its this weird layer of plastic on top of em, dont worry about it and just cut it off, this happened to my friends, doesnt hurt anything
mine are fine and ive logged about a month of hard skiing on them... a lil cut in the plastic is not delam, stop bitching and go ski. wait for a PERFORMANCE problem then warrenty. fucking kids and their whiney attitudes.
my just broke today! the edge on the nose popped out somehow.. i am getting them warrentied and not paying the diff for anything else cause they are such an awesome ski.
if you rock rails and ride hard every ski breaks, who has the best performance combined with the best warranty service?
LINE THATS WHO.
all you fucks have fun with your other skis and waiting months to get em back or not to be warrantied at all cause you hit a rail, line has and does continue to earn my business.......go bash somebody who hasnt done so much for our sport you little faggot pukes.
hahaha oh really, so ur sayin everyone who has another ski dosnt ski as hard as the kids who have line, haha. and if im not bashin on line just hte invader, tell me an 05 park ski that has broke more....
wow, i keep hearin this from people but ive been skiing them hard for ~2weeks and i have had no problems. no cracks in the edges or anything, def a sick ski.
The plastic ontop of the top sheet is no worries, but mine are splitting from the base/edge and up and there is a big enough gap to fit pencil in. I would take a picture but I don't even own a camera.
ya if the plastic topsheet comes off than just slap some epoxy in there and break out the clamps. let it dry for a couple of days and its better than a new pair
and what happens when the edge and base starts seperating from the rest of the ski? the topsheet problem, from what i have been told, is due to the ink used on the graphics messing up the curing properties of the resin. i dont care if i have to put some resin on the topsheet to patch it where chunks come off; i've done that with no problem, its the fact that the base and edge are seperating from the rest of the ski. i've been on them for about a week and a half; i shouldnt have to rivet my skis already.
happening to mine but im going to keep skiing until they break in half just because they are such sick skis other then the fact the material sucks more then my friends mom
