Absolute suckyness. It is raining on half the mountain, and snowing the other half. Watch the roads guys, and pray it freezes up so we can get snow instead of another shitty 2 months like last year. I swear, if we get another tropical punch this year, I am gonna move. I cant stand it.
Yeah, I am sick of Sportsman, and am really stoked that someone stuck their neck out an created a shop that caters to what we are doing. That takes balls in a valley dominated by the evil empire (Sportsman).
But they are in touch with the freestyle scene, where as sportsman is doing it just because they have to if they want to sell anything. I was in there last night, and they are low on every twin they have in stock, while pretty much full of the groomer skis. You would think this would tell them something, but noooooooooooooo.
dude we have al we freakin need. We have like 5 good shops combine them, they just have one shitty one, but the white room is in, we have no problem with skiis haha.
Yeah, you can't complain about the ski shop scene in Bozeman, we have quite the abundance of them. I've found that the best one is Chalet, they do some really good work and know what they're talking about.
man no way check out PHD the guys there are awesome, and way cheeper in the end for sure, and they carry better struff for your style enigma. Serioiusly
I have a friend that works there so I can drop off my skis to have them tuned for free. Aside from that, Ph.D is too expensive for me, everything there seems to be marked considerably higher than anywhere else in town.
really? I get everything for way less, he kinda hooks me up but still, like Goats for example cost the same as Round House, but you get free binding with them and free tunes all winter, when ever you want. If you buy one set of skiis there they give you everything for like 20 percent when you get smaller stuff through out the year, like beacons, videos, coats. Is your friend stu?
No, Cameron Kennedy just started working there and he offered to tune my skis with the stuff there. I bought one pair of skis there at a 50% off sale a few years ago, but haven't been in much since. I may stop by later this year when I start looking for a pair of Karmas, if I could get a deal on those I'd be pretty happy about it.
MMM, no, I would probably rate chalet lowest on my overall approval. First of all, I was in there last year and the guy was trying to tell me that 1080's had a wood core. I got my skis mounted there this year, and ooooops, they forgot to adjust the foward pressure, which is how close the rear binding is to the boot. Consequently I was trying a 450 on and my ski ejected on the lip, reinjuring my sprained mcl. They have good stuff at chalet, but I think that most of us probably know more about it than some of their workers do. I really like PHD because everyone there knows what the hell they're doing, and are willing to help you as much as you need. I just wish they carried more freestyle stuff rather than the racing and other stuff.
