What exactly is Canting?

so everyones read whether a ski boot has adjustable canting or not... but what exactly does it entail? how will changing it alter the feeling of my boots, and is it as easy as turning the allen key?

cantind is the side to side adjustment of your boots. If you are knock-kneed then you set up the canting so that the boots are angled in towards each other. This adjustment is canting and can be set up to lean either outside or inside
