first off, im a pretty big dude, about 6ft, 230, and haev a strong racing background. most people would say steer clear of such a ski as the invader, and i was nervous to ski them at first. but after my first run, i was in love. i can ski as fast as i want on these and still turn incredibly well, the buttering is fun as hell, and i can charge switch like its nothing. the landings feel like ive got tanks on my feet, yet you can still make use of the incredible flex. ive never been so happy with a ski in my life. i love the invaders.

ya thats what happend to me with my ski not the invader but the big troubles i thought that they might not be so good on the hardpack like there suppose to be but i love them. i was so scared when i took my first run but i really stoked on how well the work all round.

my gut feeling is it all depends on how you like to land. alot of kids like to land slightly in the back seat, which would obviusly not be so good with a ski with such a flex patten as this, i usually land pretty centered, so...and usually switch, which makes it easier, for me at least, cuz i always seem to be more over center when i ride/land switch.

in my experience, invaders are lighter, better for carving off jumps, and my edges have not even cracked yet(after many urban rails with little snow)
with my old (red)fujatives my edges cracked but never fell out and they are slightly heavier an maybe barely stiffer
both good skis especially when you dont have the 500+ dollar budget for other skis
