moto style jumps

has anyone noticed that skiing is going further than any sport the jumps are getting bigger hell most parks have 60 ft jumps the bigger parks have 100 ft to 140 its insane whats you opion on this it seems like every year its bigger

its cool but not that cool, they need to make the jumps more focused on air time instead of distance. Make some more jumps that focus on height, if they keep getting longer it will limit our tricks and we will become FMX.

there has always been big jumps. two years ago there was a snowboarding movie that had them sessioning a 100 ft table. so its not like its something new. i dont think there is as much style when they are jumping that far. cr's corked 9 over that table was sick but it wasnt very smooth

120 foot table - you guys have no clue how big that jump really was - you can see me in pretty much every film thats out this year - im filming right on the breakover of the landing

I think the reason they dont have jumps that kick you super high because you would get hurt a lot easier. Its all about the physics. If you go off more of a launch jump then the downward force isnt as much and your legs dont snap on impact. It would be cool though. Jumps like the had for that one snowboarding comp somewhere in Europe are the coolest. It was like 30 ft high. They built it using one of those Olympic ski jump things as an inrun.
