cool will probs not be able to make it up till after christmas so will be up 2nd week in jan if thats the case bout freestyle night being calncelled because of christmas, whats the kicker like? iv heard bad things bout the lip always being knackered
well the last time i was there it was all pretty wacked out...made me want to be in the alps...which i am now!!!...no more indoor shit for me. But to be honest you can huck some stuff if you try off the "kicker" so yeah its ok.
castleford better than the milton keynes one? i was dissapointed, they had two rails and a small jump but they had roped them off.... flatter and shorter than the local dryslope too.
Im a regular at Xscape castleford mate, and dont listen to fredster!!!
A friend of mine has been doing the shaping since the summer, and the set up is always sick! nice wide kickers getting on to the rails, always a line of three or four rails.
Yes the booters get worn, but theres always someone re shaping the kickers onto the rails.....so they dont get to hammered.
They have a box setup (its four seperate boxes) and this is always setup different, i.e. flat - up - flat - down or down - flat - down - flat.
Fredster is right about the kicker getting rutted......but this would happen anywhere in any resort..... when theres someone hitting it every 10 seconds for four hours its gonna happen!
I;m away for a couple of weeks now, but from 2nd/3rd week in January i'll be up there coaching on thurs and fri.
ah there you go then, ill be up there after the 2nd/3rd of jan on a fri night probably and ill be sure to bring a few mates with me, ill see you then! thanks a lot, p.s the boxes and rails sound sick and im probably gonna be on them a lot of the night anyway so if the kickers messed up its not the end of the world, i have a dry slope kicker i can use all year round anyway (at rossendale)
!!GUESS WHO DOM YOU BELL-END!?! it grant almighty! hahaha! and by the way you are taking me to X-scape! i will have been plenty practised by then....steamboat here i come!!
shut the hell up u ginger twat i am going to be fine skiing mount rossendale instead of steamboat , (shaking with surpressed rage)lol btw evry1 we shud all shun mr mt rossendale cos he sno boards nd if u dnt hate sno boarders, hes ginger too!
Ah nice to see a UK thread in here. I live quite far from an Xscape, and the dryslope near me sucks ass. But hey, im moving to whistler in 3 weeks, yeah!
Who i sthe cas regular, as i work and ride there everyweek, and tom the guy that does the parks is a top bloke, sick rails too but the rest of the park team have gone away meaning he has to do everything on his own.
