K2 don't do that either, it's just a shitload of bullshit man. I've got a pair of SP 189 and Im 193cm and the skis are a litte bit shorter than me

he's fine on them...i'm heavier and have the 178 chronics which are tip to tip, not running length, and i use it for the same, 50 park 50 all mountain

I'd say go longer. I'm 5'5 and 135 lbs. I ride 176 on both my park skis and my pow skis, wish my pow skis were in the 180's, though.

dude, you should be on something in the mid 180s. if your 6 1, and 150, you could definatly benifit from a longer ski. im 5-9, and am on 183s, and was on 177s last season. (longer skis are soooooo much better, in every way imaginable). unless you are JUST starting off, get something longer. you wont regret it at all.
