Hanover, Pennsylvania F'ing Sucks

I'm currently visiting my parents in Hanover, Pennsylvania. They moved here my senior year of highschool. (thankfully I have never had to live here). They love it- they bought a horse farm with 2 creeks running through the property, but they have yet to buy any horses. It may be fun if they had some 4 wheelers, but instead my dad has a tractor and a ride on mower. The town is so boring, and of course, there are no mountains. I don't get to go back to Colorado till the 3rd of January, and I didn't even bring my skis out here with me because the ski hills around here (Liberty, Roundtop) are so shitty (sorry guys, they are). I honestly don't know how people who grew up here can stand it. I've been here for two days and I am ready to go back to Colorado.

if you grew up here you would learn to make due w/ it because you know what, it's skiing.
i live for the day my plane flies out to Utah in February but until then im gonna go have fun at roundtop.
you should come on up here, the mountain might suck, but i guarantee that you will meet some really cool people just look for the A-JIBBERS, we'll hook you up

Yes, PA totally sucks, but it is home to a lot of people (me being one). We can't help it that we were born into this shithole, but we make the best of what we have. The kids that ride Roundtop are really good and really chill, odds are if you went there you're ass would be completely embarrassed by some of the kids there. So before you talk shit on the rolling hills of PA, take into consideration the people that do live there, especially the ones that can rip harder than yourself.

Sorry guys, I shouldn't be ripping on your state. I guess it helps that you guys did grow up here and have friends and stuff out here. A friend of mine is coming out here from Colorado next week and then we are going to go hang out with some CU friends in Pittsburg, so that should be good. Honestly though, who on here wants to defend Hanover as a town? It sucks so bad. My parents don't actually even live in Hanover, they live outside the town and there is nobody around here.

Thanks for the offer bro. The problem is that all my stuff (pants, jacket, gloves, goggles, boots, everything) is in Colorado, so I don't really have anything to wear to a ski hill. I'll bring my stuff with me next year though, assuming there is snow.
