What boots does everyone ski on? I am getting a new pair after like 3 yrs on the old yellowish green 1080 boot. I think ima get tha new foils but my heel does lift up in them a little which is common i guess. I was thinking about waiting till the new dalbello krypton freestyle boot comes out but they dont come out till january and they dont have much padding in the shins which I really need. I need a pair quick cause im livin at Sunday River for the month. So what do you ride and how do you like it?
rossi soft pro 1, the exp3 didn't work for me at all, both are twice as heavy as my old boots (koflach sc55 from 1994 - used them until they just wouldn't even stay attatched to the binding any longer.
that krypton rampage will be great I presume. I also like the way salo saves weight with the holes.
a pair of last seasons Dalbello ZX supersport. woulda bought kryptons, but they werent out yet. however, i have modded my boots quite a bit, and now have them alot softer, and i totally redesigned the footbed. they are great boots. i love um.
Dalbello Krypton Pros. The boot is fucken sick. he amount of custom peices which you can use to change you boot flex and feel is uncanny. its like the fucken ipod of ski botts with how many accessories it has. Just like changing lenses in you goggles when it gets cloudy mid day. if you feel like hitting the park after lunch, just throw takes out the stiffing plus inside the boot. noticable difference without tools and it takes 30 seconds max. Plus the heel hold is unparalleled and the boot is super comfy.
