My 4frnt msps are getting those little chips aroung the nose and front of the ski. SHould i be worried and/or should i do something to fix this? They aren't covered by warrenty because i bought them used.
not really, no. most skis that have sandwich construction do that. my friends scratch FS have little chips, and he has skied them like that for over a year, and they are fine.
haha, yeah. delam is where the ski peels apart. (understand why they call it de laminating?). those are just chips from sharp edges diggin into the corners. in most circumstances its cosmetic. however, if the chip is deep enough that you can see past the sidewall (which is pretty deep on those skis), and see the wood core, you should epoxy it over, and it will be fine.
