Check your preferences, of maybe disable your firewall while you download..

Bit torrent makes you upload sometimes more than you download...maybe for you its okay, but for me, i cant upload more than 5 or 10 gigs wiht my internet service, or i gotta pay like 30 bucks each month

i donno about lime wire, my labtop (it was a good one too) is now killed from using it. now it's slow...really slow, and i got a e-mail from the Federal government sayin' my comp. visited 31 illegal sites, and i dont even use it anymore. i got a new desktop cause my labtop was so slow after using lime wire... hackers got in through my computer and visted sites through my acount, they found it out through me downloadin things and them findin my info out.
