Shit....my boots melted

my dads idea to put my boots on the radiator in our house to dry them up. then we get a bite to eat, and when we get home the whole upstairs was in smoke...no fire just the lining of my boots melted and ruined. so i gotta ski my dads boots since hes working. http://www.salomonski.com/us/products/products.asp?id=784654>

are those at all freestyle? they have a walk/ski thing and they seem a bit stiff

doesnt dumont use the ellipse 9s? anyway, youll be fine as long as the fit well.

i think it was Backcountry magazine who said they made great AT boots with a thermo mold in em. good boots all around.

Reminds me of the time we were chilling at the top lodge and the little metal radiator around the walls was uncovered and my buddy's bad liutenant sat on it and melted bear claws into it. that helmet is rediculous now, he "got attacked by a rabid wolverine".

Sorry to hear about the boots, talk to your shop and/or to salomon, see if they can hook you up.

those are a recreational comfort boot. but they will work fine. i cant believe salomon calls teh siam a womens performance boot. ha

that actually happened to me except the shell melted on mine as well, i made the mistake of try to wear them, but they always cut off the circulation and gave me cramps. oh well, i neveeven heard an I'm sorry from the perpetrater either, i didn't put my boots on the heater for a reason damn it!

Nothin like good ol rental boots. The only goal for those boots, is so that the people can get them on in under 5 minutes, and ski a few hours without bitching of pain. Performance is not included.
