today my brother and i both learned how to do backflips. after a couple normal ones my brother tried to add in a lui kang and he ate shit. so i was wondering if you guys have any tips on how to add in grabs. and also, whats the easiest grab to do?
thanks

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

1st off make sure you can throw grabs in your 360 and what not no sweat before you even attempt grabing upside down,
the eaisest thing to do is start crossing up your backflips, once your comfrotable go for a mute, or safter,
A back japan is harder because you have to counter rotate your body.
um. hope that helps...

whenever i do back japans or lui kangs, i always end up putting in an extra 180 on accident. I think backflip tailgrab is the easiest regarding backflip grabs cuz you don't have to lean so far forward to grab it, you can keep looking straight back.

If you just learned backflips, you're probably still throwing them kind of hard, leaving your body extended in the air. Don't rush the grabs, take your time and get used to the feeling of being inverted. Once you really have the backflips dialed, start working on popping off the lip more, then tucking up in the air and rotating backwards (as opposed to just launching off the lip and throwing all your momentum back). Once you learn to pop, then condense and rotate, you'll be tight in the air and its easy to drop a hand to a safety grab or a mute. On the other hand, like someone above me said, you can work on the backflip X, then drop a hand back for the tail grab, for which you can leave your body extended.

if you like to do laid out backs go for a tail but if u are tucked up go for a safty at first then a mute or lu kang, what ever floats your boat...

It also helps to learn the harder stuff on a tramp. Like Kamakazi kinda said, go for those kinda tucked safty backflips and then move to stuff the requires more reach and tweak. But be careful, cause in a clean back flip mute you almost HAVE to get the grab to pull yourself around. I missed once and landed right on my head. Good luck
