I read somewhere in some magazine that if you go fast and take a crash, the helmet could possibly do some damage to your neck. But I still play it safe and wear one.
definitely good. i feel so much safer with one, i wear it all the time. i hit a tree when i was about 7 or 8, and i was going pretty fast, and if i hadn't had that helmet on, i would've had one hell of a headache. luckily i just broke my goggles.
when i was in high school and goin on the ski trips, we had to wear a helmet to go into the terrain park or they wouldn't let you go on the next trip. Thats why i started wearing one and now its just a habit
i guess you're right. but to most people who think straight and logically, it doesn't even seem like a question worth asking. like i said, better safe than sorry. it simply makes the most sense, ultimately (as in a matter of life and death), to wear a helmet, and at the expense of what? unsteeziness or slight discomfort? oh boohoo...
always wear one just look what happened to CR i kno he got hit below the brim but you never kno he might not be living without it... also my friend was doin a cork 7 last year and landed on his head and would be dead right now if he wasnt wearing one
I dont wear one when Im teaching cause it just gets annoying, though I soppose I should cause it sets a "good example" but yea im much more confident with it... and more likely to try something stupid
