well, i've heard a lot of people refer(not reefer;) to jibbing as rails and urban style stuff... but seems like a lot of people either don't know what it means, or jibbing can mean almost anything. On this forum i've heard people call a small jump a jib - ?, others say anything in the terrain park is jibbing. I thought it was just rails and urban style stuff.

snowboarders used to refer to sliding rails, trees, boxes, etc as 'jibbing' but for some reason we have taken up the stupid ass name and they have sort of dropped, good for them. before snowboarding 'jibbing' meant doing coke. and for the record, along the same lines, 'rock'n'roll' is what black people around the times of the cotton club and what not called sex...yay.

i consider jibbing to be the act of bonking sliding or grinding something. it can be rails in the park, handrails, boxes, trees, rocks, houses, you name it, it can be jibbed..
