Yeah, Gore actually does have decent BC for the east. Burnt Ridge is decent, Upper Chatiemac Glades are cool, beyond that, I'm not going to say.
All the glades are open, so I'm torn between entering the big air (which will be on a shitty jump with a flat landing) and just skipping it and skiing glades all day. I could win a pair of skis . . . Or I could ski 11 inches of fresh . . . Hmmmmmm .. .
Gore and Whiteface keep tons of cool drops and stuff to the sides of their runs, whereas other ski resorts take that stuff out. If you're cool with near flat landings (anyone who has done a bomb drop or anything near one can't argue with me), the Gore (and Whiteface) both have amazing drops around.
