in ski vids theres that like orange/yellowish tint on the side of the screen. I see it alot and it looks really sweet.

ie- jp's part in war has alot of it.

If anyone knows what the name of effect or how to do it i would appreciate it greatly, thanks

im guessing they do something with fiters? its prolly 16mm film too

it is the effect created by light/the exposure of the 16 mm film. if you do it right.

they are called film burns and you can do them artificially with photoshop and after effects or (easier) you can film a flame, like really close so its just an orangey flicker and overlay that over some footy and bring the opacity down a bit, they dont look as good as natural ones but they are fun to play with
