Some friends and I are heading up to Tremblant the week after Christmas and staying at a condo. Any advice on places to go-bars or restaraunts-while we're there? Should we exchange our money at the border? Do I need to watch my shit from being stolen? Do the locals speak English? Never been that far north in Canada so any help is much appreciated.
every one speaks english, it is like a part of america with an accent
also, to get last tracks, take the last gondola ride or TGV ride, and go up in that observitory thing, and chill out there for a bit, then ski down all by yourself
Lanks said the best bars. Conditions aare nice, BUT they are COLD!!!! take alot of clothing, like long underwear, amd such and extra pair of gloves and maybe a facemask. But ask anyone it is COLD but it is worth it!!

hell yea i exchange it.. hopefully the exchange rate is better than in the past.. i like canadian money except for the 2 and 5 coins.. if you drop change its like 93419345 bucks gone..
Definately pre-game before going anywhere. Ill be on the mntn as much as possible, not sure what outerwear but ill prolly be wearin snow camo oakley wisdoms, last year mike nicks, and a beat to shit navy columbia jacket
english is pretty omnipresent tho, and theres a place in the village to xchange money dont pay with american cuz they round up and u get ripped off, and make sure u hit the glades off the edge
last year when i was there, the town at the bottom of the mountain was on some kind of liqour strike. The only places you could get alcohol were at the bar or if your drove to a different town. Luckily me and my friends drove up there
i'll be there during the holidays prob. Also like Dishwalla said, the good park "soth side" only opens later on in the year so don't go there with huge expectations.
I know for sure that they all talk french but the thing is is that i heard that evdery body up there is snotty pieces of crap no offense to ppl who go there but that is what i heard.... i went to mont st. anne lat year and its only anout a half hour from theyre i would check that out because its a pretty sweet hill.... so his le massif
