again thats your opinion. seth does not drop into powder all of the time. watch focused. if the coral is what makes it so cool then he is basically a daredevil. thats like saying that those guys that ride unicycles on top of buildings are more talented then guys like cedric gracia and bender. imo surfing over coral doesnt compare to hucking a cliff in extreme winter conditions with as much exsposure as what seth skis.

are you comparing something that occurs naturally in the ocean to some dude riding a unicycle on top of a building that is not natural?

at least have a brain and compare it to unseen razor sharp rocks in a landing. christ.

then you have to worry about the riptow which can suck you out into the ocean. your best chance of staying alive is curling up into a ball and hoping you bob to the surface in time.

sorry for not making sense. I was trying to say that riding over a coral reef is not what should put him on a different level then seth because seth skis stuff with massive exposure. falling on rocks is just as bad as coral reef.

That is absolutley insane. I have so much fuckign respect for those guys, but in my opinion Big mountain skiing is more hardcore. but after seeing that video I definatly have more respect for surfing.I have been out on the water when it is rough and it is scary so Seeing guys rip down huge fucking waves like that boggles me.

i have been to jaws. it is fucking gnarly, to get down there, you have to climb down this cliff and get into the water. when i was there, they had guys getting towed into 30 footers on jet skis. the locals were even impressed. i would say when the locals are even impressed at the waves that is nuts. i think i even saw kelly slater because there was a big wave comp the day before we got there.

surfing is hands down one of the gnarliest things out there. i think it is on par with big mountain skiing.

The apparent danger of reef and rock breaks is an accepted danger...just like avalanches are that in BC skiing...both are equally dangerous and deadly trying to compare the 2 is ignorant
