uh california is closer to a coast, thus it is heavy wet cement, colorad powder is dry! and yes it actually is dryer than utah at a few resorts!

There's still a little bit of pow in the trees off the ridge, you just have to hunt it out. The park is in great shape right now, I just got back from there on Sunday.
