If you know any good colleges or universities in the Pacific Northwest, in NorCal, Oregon, Wash or BC that are close to a good mountain, spit it out and post. Much appreciation ya'll.

yea that is the best one i think. UW is like an hour from snoqualmie but really far from everywhere else.
EWU is by spokane, abotu 80 miles away.
CWU is like 40 miles from snoqualmie, but again, far from everything else...
don't really know about oregon tho

Western Washington
University of Washington
Seattle University
University of Puget Sound
Pacific Lutheran University
Lewis & Clark
Reed
University of Portland
All those schools are in the PNW and are close to skiing. Washington is better than Oregon as far as quality of skiing goes.
I go to UPS and love it. Small school, good academics, good group of kids to ski with. Crystal is about 1hr 20 minutes from campus, Alpental/Summit are about the same.
If I wanted to go to school just to ski, Western Washington is hard to beat, as was said above. under an hour to baker, close to whistler.
All the seattle schools arent that far from skiing at all.
Alpental - 45 minutes
Crystal - 1.5 hours
Stevens = 2 hours
Baker - 3 hours
So, I guess you should give us more details about what type of college your looking for - one that is big or small, high or lower acedemic reputation, whether or not you plan on skiing all the time or actually going to class, etc....

Lewis & Clark College
Portland State University
University Portland
Reed College
They're all about 45 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows, Timberline, Cooper Spur and Ski Bowl. They're also about 45 minutes from places on the Oregon Coast you can go surfing in the summer, though I always opted to go wakeboarding on the Willamette.
You're about 3 hours from all the places near Seattle, and about 3 hours from Mt. Bachelor.
I went to Gonzaga in Spokane, WA and it's close to 49 degrees North, Mt. Spokane, Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, and Schweitzer.
Mt. Hood is better than all the places over here in eastern WA and north Idaho.
In the Northwest there are tons of places to go though. Crystal, Mt. Hood, Mt. Baker, Steven's Pass, etc. If you go to college anywhere near Portland or Seattle you won't be more than an hour from plenty of good skiing.

My two favorite places in OR and WA are Mt. Hood and Mt. Baker. Mt. Hood has killer back country terrain and decent resorts, and Mt. Baker has SHITLOADS of snow... they've actually had to close it down a few times because they had too much snow.
Though your education is pretty damned important, and there's plenty of good schools in the NW for all kinds of disciplines, so figure out what you want to do, find a school in the NW that has a good program for it and you'll be good to go pretty much regardless.
Oh and EWU is only 20 minutes outside Spokane... WSU is about an hour fifteen down in Pullman.

UNR is really close to tahoe. it's about an hour from squaw. i don't know if this really qualifies as pacific northwest, but it is located near a lot of great resorts.
