I skied the massacre set up sat, sun, and today. It was dope every day becasue they used the cat to groom every night. Today was sicks casue they built the jump a lot bigger and speed was much better. But still if troll kept the set up and groomed like they did everyday for the comp they would have the best park next to marquette.

you dont think that park would be better than marquette? i havent ever been there but that is so hard to imagine. i guess marquette would have a few more jumps but the rails and everything were set up so perfect and they were all very big rails. i dont nkow i thought taht would have been the best park in the midwest. i guess ill see come superpark

marquette sets up big tables, some over 70ft, with rail options on each table, go to superpark to see what I mean.

A lot of places never switch there set ups and never get new rails which makes it kinda boring.

damn it drew your on to me. but yea frist of all like with hyland, some times they do fuck things up but most of the time its all good. the thing is that when you so many kids(and alot that suck that mess lips up and stuff) your park is going to get trashed no matter what.
Secoundly you guys need to get creative. think of new ideas for old rails and such. think of a new way to come on it or slide it.
To finish i do think alot of hills in the midwest still dont really understand what a park should be. we cant have what the west has but it can be damn close(IE massecure set up) they just need to open their eyes and take some advice from the kids on what to do.

Of everywhere ive ridden, Marquette has by far the most upkeep and movement in their park. Everything is groomed nightly, and rails are changed up every couple weeks or so. Marquette also has 3 jumps in one line, each with 2-3 options on how big you want to go, varying from 60ish down to 35ish. Marquettes rails, on the whole, arent as large as the massacres, but what we have in number of rails and options in set-up, I think makes up for it. Hope to see all the MN guys at superpark.

yeah its just hard for me to imagine a park kept up as nicely as the massacre on a daily basis.

yeah, welch does seem like it has potential.
but yeah, most places dont realize that almost every person who goes to their hill ages 12-28 are going to hit jumps and rails. they still try and cater to everyone, and everyone likes to ski down a nice groomer. what places need is more input from people who ride there on what to make, what to keep, what to change, how to change it, things like that. theyre not going to wisen up on their own. they need examples of how things can be done.
