Does anyone have any info if spirit is going to have any new jibs? i heard a c-box in being built. also does anyone know if that down-flat-down is gonna get fixed or atleast made more stable.

Spirit Mt pisses me off. It is snowing like mad today and they still arn't open until friday. They are waiting till 100% is open before opening it full time. That is just gay.

They have a small rainbow rail, and 15 foot box, a triple hit,(small, medium, big) two more ok sized jumps, two small jumps, a flat/shotgun rail about 15 feet, and a flat down rail(5 foot flat to 10 foot down)and its all in pretty good condition right now. Super fun.

^ in addition to what he said... they have two big ones at the bottom that people rarely go off of because you need to start way the heck up there. and they have a hip. he said two decent sized jumps... one of those is a step up type thing.

youth shelter f-d-f or the smaller one? The park is nice with a good flow in the jump line. looks like they're preparing for a wall ride which would be nice. They are also done blowing snow for the year so the pipe is ready to be made, hopefully they get on it quickly. I heard a goal was for the pipe to be open sometime this week, but that would surprise me.

I just talked to one of the park guys today to see what would be new for the year. They are building a wall and a c-box for right now. The c-box will be supposedly 28ft (I'll have to see it)and a foot a a half wide and no specifics on the wall.

Spirits park is in pretty good shape right now with the half pipe up, not carved the best yet, but it's up and all the major jumps built, they still have some rails to put in but it's nice right now.

I broke a pair of skis there, had a pair stolen (brand new birthday present), and I broke my hand there. Plus, two of my friends got in a bad car accident in Duluth when skiing there.

haha, minnesota ski, "format hats kid"'s fall was pretty nasty, he knows he sucks so don't worry bout it, i was the kid in the red coat and grey pants with the troublemakers. You guys had some cool trains on the showcase and that little rail.

Wor dis that the wall should be up by next weekend for the revolution snowboard comp. I talked to the guy making it and he said it will be 8 ft tall by 16ft with a coping or something on top, but yeah by next weekend but there will be a comp

I think it's something like the revolution tour, may be sponsored by FOD or Damage. I know Damage has it's own comp on the weekend of feb 11-12. Which will also be when USSA will have for central will be held there. So yeah all events open to non USSA people as long as you only compete two of them. Good comp at Spirit...

There should be a C-box this year and the park guy I was talking to on sat was letting the box stay for the rest of the day and then they're fixing it. He was telling me about the c box and wall and said if they get that finished they may have another surprise for this year. His hopes though are to bring more boxes to the park, no clue if that will happen but there's my tidbit of knowledge.
