Road condition when it snows near killington

So, it seems like Killy's gonna get some snow when we head up there. I'm just bit worried that the car we are taking might have some hard time making it up there. How well do they keep the road cleared and how fast do they get it cleared??? Should I not worry about this at all???

Comming from the west can be hard if it snows hard on K pass... The east up 100 isn't as bad but for a longer time. They do a good job with the roads for the most part. If it snows hard it can be bad in a good truck... but most frnt drive cars with some sort of tire will do fine just take it easy.

Out of all the gaps in Vermont, Killington is pretty much the best cared for. Your biggest problem will probably be the first hill when going up the Killington Access Road...that thing is crazy shit even when there's no snow. :P
But yeah, just have snow tires/studded tires, go slow, and you'll be just fine. I drove over it before in summer tires, went slow, and was just fine...though I don't recommend that for anyone.
Have a nice day everyone. :)

Well I'll be coming from the south and the thing is, the car is FWD and the tires are regular tires and not winter tires. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Oh, err, well, just drive slow, but don't stop. Constant, slow movement will get you there. If it's black, it's ice. If you need to, drive with one tire off the side of the road in some fresh powder...you'll get better grip that way.
Um, that's about all the advice I have. Again though, Killington Gap is pretty well cared for...probably the best in the state, especially for the upcomming holiday season.
Have a nice day everyone. :)
