i snapped a pair of orange ones on a hip, and while still under warranty salomon told me in nicer words "fuck off you get nothing"
their bindings suck too, the ski brakes just fall off...
i'll never buy salomon again

i don't like the new models of 1080....the old 2000-2002 models were the last ones i held in high regard. They just went from sooo awsome.. to shit in one model.

i had the yellow pair the first year they were out, wich my friend is still riding them, but there falling apart though, then i had the vinne d's. i would probably buy a pair of j.f''s if i skiied on the east coast still.
