I just want to get the word out about 2 great ski shops in Nor Cal.
Tahoe Demo Center is your Head dealer in Nor Cal. If you are interested in Head skis call Wes, he'll help you out and he's awesome. They are in South Lake Tahoe but their site needs to be updated.
For all other skis, boots etc. Sierra Snowboard, Ski and Patio (love that name) is the place to be. Taylor is really a huge help and just a generally cool guy. They are in Sacramento and online.
Just thought that I would share that information with you.

kens is cool and all, i love those guys. But taylor is my lover and sierra is the shit, Yes this rumor of him walking on water is true but the wine part not so much. Its more of a grape juice/holy water/ ICER mix.

forive my lack of knowledge on the topic but im away at school down south to know enough about the shops up here. But...
I have had great experiances with Kens and one of my old coaches works there who was very helpful and gave me a great deal. I have not had the privledge of making it over to sierra patio but from what everyone is saying it must be a great place. there are few employees and riders of that store on this site yeah? in this forum?
