well the zawg is here............ and all i have to say is wait til you see the new rails... ill hint out there be between 4 and 6 new ones.. plus new wallride..... and what else can i hint towards... you may use the stairs? but not for walking... and how big of a battleship box can you make? i bet ous is bigger than urs ...
yeah there better be some nice smooth flat rails and other fun stuff... no art that they stole from the Philly Art Museum with fuckin corkscrews and loops and all that shit
well i can tell you they cut apart the downkink rail and made it more mellow... i saw that over the summer when i was hiking around up there... the wall ride that they put in looked like it wasnt built right but who knows... i'm kinda anxious to see what they are planning on doing...
from what I heard this morning. The stairs of the stair jib are completed, and today they are working on putting the handrail in the middle, and 2 box type ledges on the outsides. Its a 12 stair set, and people are going to die. Battleship is somewhere around 45' long, there will be a new downkink rail, and a couple others that I forget. We are having a park crue meeting tomorrow night so I'll post an update after that.
amen to that trevor. my mom tears that place up! and she bakes the best cookies in the history of ever. as far as the helmet thing goes, if you're skiing park (or skiing at all for that matter), wear one. they're way warmer than hats, some come with headphones built in, if you think they "just dont look cool", well, skiing's not a fashion show. there's no downside to wearing them. i would have knocked myself out last night at bear if i hadnt had mine on. i was dizzy even with it.
from what the park crew says... sometime mid-next week... they want to groom what they have on it now to get a solid base and then they want to blow some more to set up some sick features
Yeah sidewinder for next week its lookin' like. I was hoping for this weekend but this way they will be able to open it with a ton of snow for hits, and they'll be able to put out some of the features being built in the groomer shack right now, such as the 14 set stair-case and other goodies.
