Rossignol scratch 140

I warrantied my 140s from last season and got new ones and the heal piece is completely different. Considering the fact that it was the heal piece that broke for me in the first place, I guess the changes are for the good. Does anyone who has had the product knowledge course for rossignol what makes this new heal piece better?
