i just demoed them a couple of days ago and i loved them. they hold a great edge and are nice and light and snappy. i'm just curious about the durability and longevity of the ski cause i know they have a foam core. is it gonna lose it's pop after a season or two?
any ski will lose its pop over a course of 100 days on the slopes and just because the 1080s have a foam core it doesnt mean the suck, why would such a well known company make something that is shit, i just got a pair of foils and the are just as poppy and spingy as my fujatives
well the reason the foils are sooooo much better is because they adapted the spaceframe technology ontop of the nose and tail and it makes the ski torsional more stable........spaceframes are nice because they have like no swing weight.. like when you 270 onto a rail or box you will tend to spin but with the 1080s you wan really control that rotatio its nice, plus i mean i get new skiis every year so it doesnt matter if the lose pop after 60 days cause ill just get new ones
