Hi...yeah i was at a small party tonite and my friend/cusin almost died on the spot. Hes a diabetic and had too much to drink without wathing his sugar level. he got hypothermic outside. We had a hard time gettin him inside as he is 7 feet tall. the paramedics came and took him to another city and god I hope he lives. An ambulance had to come in from another town seeing as how the government cut back on health care. When will the Gov't learn that its only a matter of time....With our hospital shut down and all...
----now i lay me down to sleep, blah blah blah my soul to keep, if i die before i wake ill go to hell for heavons sake.

Socialized health care is sweet. But yah...that's really shitty what happened. A friend of mine got hurt on the hill yesterday and during the ride to the hospital i spoke with the paramedic about all the stupid shit the government does. Things like restricting what a paramedic can or can't do, regardless of training. For example, in my home town of kenora ontario, the paramedics aren't allowed to give things such as a IV's. Kenora is pretty much a outdoors town, and people get hurt some times over 100 kms from the nearest hospital. In the winter, people are always nearly freezing to death by the time an ambulance gets there and something like a warm saline IV would really help to save their life and even though some of the paramedics are trained to do it, the government won't allow them to use their training, so people needlessly freeze to death.

You said socialized health care was sweet... but all of those problems you listed exist because the government sets the regulations.
