so i bought shanghai six and yeah the place i bought it from gave me a copy with a broken case so it got all scratched then they gave me a new one and it had the same thing and it always stops playing and shit so i was wondering what to do like do those disk cleaners work well or what?

Take it back until you get a copy that plays in a standard DVD player. No need to MacGuyver it, just get one that works.
