Yeah I just got back from Killington today, and I was somewhat dissatisfied. They had over 60 trails open, with 14 lifts, but the park only had 2 rails open with 2 boxes, and one jump set up. They had plenty of snow, so I just think they should of had more stuff set up. If you look at Sunday River, they only have 40 trails open with 3 terrain parks. But, it was still a good day.... Did anyone else go?
Its to the left of the flat down. They cut it out today, letting it sit a while to solidify. I think they are going to have to expose more of the tree though as I can easily see people getting more height then they expect.
theres a 30ft or so fenced off in-run so that only one person can go at a time and some idiot doesnt follow you up. the jump is mabye 4-5 feet tall with a smooth transition and theres about a 6 inch gap between the lip and the tree. all the branches have been cut off up to about 10 or 12 feet above the lip. i saw a boarder get maybe 1/3 of the way up, but no skier that i saw made it past about 2 feet. then, to the left of the tree jib (but still in the marked off area) is a butter-spine-thing. its like 20 degrees short of vert with a 4 foot deck to mess around on, and then a landing identical to the take off on the other side.
but yeah. my distances might be a little off, but thats the general idea.
