fortune....well, one run open but they are blowing snow like mad and before x-mas all the chairs should def be open. THe park will be built durning x-mas golidays if all goes to plan. Same stuff as last year minus down rail and kink rail but adding to new rails. And there should be 3 jumps, perhaps in a row if it will fit....

MSM conditions today (Sunday) were fantastic.
Vanier and Cheval sides are both open.
They will have way more rails and hits this year with 3 different sections all having different skill levels.

They better have some park and pipe junk up because there is a park and pipe course from the 27-30 so they better get on it..

MSM has great potential and the cool thing is it's not stoopid busy, the conditions are pretty good and they park areas are spread out nicely.
They will have a nice wall this year which should make for some interesting tricks.

I was at MSM on yesterday and it was ridiculously shitty...looked like they were rebuilding the park, which actually looked pretty cool, but generally the conditions were ridiculously icy and rocky. My cousin had a brand new wax job and after skiing 2.5 hours his base looked like it needed to be reground.
all 5 of us there had our lift tickets snipped an refunded, and headed back to edelweiss where conditions were much better and terrain was much more interesting.
It was a poor first impression of MSM. I might give it another chance when the park is actually open...they have a lot of snowmaking to do though.

I skied Mont Saint Marie today and they had an okay park. It is good consdering what Fortune has to offer. They have a table and a box. The other conditions were skiable. You have to get there in the morning though. The beginners scrape up the hill. The table was good and i was able to get a couple of 3s on it and a fakie 180 saftey off on it. Didn't attept the box. Looked bad.
