Cut food stamps for all people who are more than 20 pounds overweight.

From the tax cuts thread...my views on food stamps and poor people.
Lets not cut all food stamps, but instead only cut foodstamps for people who are more than 20 pounds overweight. Once they get down to less than 20 pounds overweight, they can have their precious food stamps back. This will get rid of a ton of obesity, and lower government spending.
START APPLE QUOREQuoting Apple* from Dec 9 2005 9:43:57:
Alot of poor people are overweight because they cant afford to eat properly. They eat mostly carbs and very little furits, vegatables and protiens.
If your only eating Carbs, you get fat, even though you are not getting the nutrition that you need. Its a fact of life.

Apple, I really respect your input. Seriously, you are one of my favorite members. The thing is, I'm a poor (in a relative sense, I don't have a bunch of personal money for food) college student. I eat way more carbs than would be recomended by any diet plan (Somedays I consume half a pound or a pound of pasta), and yet I am probably in better shape than 90% or more of the population of the United States. How do I do it? Well, for one I have a high metabolism because I am 19, but more importantly, I am extremely active. I ride my bike instead of driving whenever I can. I also ski, climb, and hike many times a week. I'm not going to propose that all poor people are lazy, but instead that it is a very important contributing factor. Why not cut foodstamps for people who are so overweight that it causes a huge drain on society? If you want poor people to eat well, why not make a large portion of food stamps that can only be redeemed for fruits and vegetables? We can't make everyone fit, but we can at least make sure that people recieving food stamps (who are also the primary recipients of government health care) aren't getting fat by eating things bought with our tax money.

ok so u may be 90% thinner that doesnt mean ur 90% better health people who are chubby can be more heatlher then someone who is thin........if u dont belive me look up the reshearch
and u may have a high motablism so u digest food faster such u dont gain wieght from carbs.....as someone who has a low motablism they will gain alot mor wieght them someone with a high motablism
THEN there is stuff in ur body called "Yest"(u get yest if u have EVER been on anti bioticks and u wont lose it until u do this special diet i will explain soon) fat atachs to it and wont detach and no matter HOW much u work out NO matter how much u may run to burn the fat u wont cause of this "Yest"....u have to stave the yest and one of the few ways to do it is called the "body ecoligy diet" (which u cut out sugar So like fruits and candy and all the stuff with any sugar natural or fake which and no carbs so like no achool but u can eat whole garin bread) any ways this diet is very well known and it cost ALOT of money to go on it
SO there for some over wight people are like that cause of a slow motablism
or
Its because of this yeast and so cutting the food stamps wont help cause u have to stave the yeast but eating things like "sour croute"
There is also a thing called food combing which has to do with the digestive Enzymes in ur body where if u eat A starch with a protien it wont digest cause ur body sends out 2 digestive enzymes that then cancel each other out....so the food doesnt digest and just sits in ur stomach and u gain wieght like that
Now this isnt going for all the people that eat at Mc'd every day or go eat fast food but some people just cabnt burn the fat cause of certin things so its unfair to cut there food stamops when they are hainving trouble losing the wiehgt cause they dont kno about these things....so it owuld be unfair to cut there food stamps
i sugest to everyone to read the "body ecologiy diet" book....if u do it it will change ur life no joke u get so much more enegry
well thats about it THAT Was a long thing(that went off topic) on this topic that no one prolly will read the whole thing i am just saying that this book is crazy good my mom lost 36 pounds in 3months and she couldnt burn it in the 7 years she worked out.

No, I am in better health and in better shape than at least 90% of the population. I am 5'11'', 175 and like I said, I do a TON of hiking, climbing, and skiing. It isn't uncommon for me to hike in excess of 30 miles in a weekend with a pack on my back. I ride my bike several miles a day too, and I'm thinking about doing an eco challenge. Trust me, I'm in good shape.

I agree on the foodstamps for produce, that's a great idea.
and I think apple was talking more in a general sense. There are exceptions to everything, and you might just be one
