Urban rail speed

sooo today we were all stoked to hit a rail, we built the jump. tried pushing and pulling the persons poles. the ground was flat. how the fuck am i supposed to get speed?

Build a drop in, pole whips don't work with many set ups. Drop in's are key.

or just do what lil john does, and put a garbage can with a piece of ply wood on to at the top of the rail, and jump off of it onto the rail, check out that video thats posted.

haha same EXACT thing happened to me today. except i didnt give up. i backed my car into the snowbank, stood on top and i built a ramp down the back with snow and got pole whipped by my friends. it worked good and i landed it!! ;)

build a tiny drop in like 2 feet high with pole whips, it will give you tons of speed.

yeah..when ours was flat we had three people...two people whippping and and one pushing....

"Sling Shots" (two people holding poles and pulling you) normally work enough. Building a legit Roll in is way essential to bringing your A-game to the streets.

tow in w/ car maybe or you could run and then jump into your skis and let that carry you into the rail but probably not ive only done that once and it was luck
